01 · The challenge
A crash in practice left the team without a spare front upright, and the casting supplier needed six weeks.
02 · Our approach
We machined a billet version from the team’s CAD on our 5-axis cell, reviewing the lightweighting with their engineer over a video call.
03 · The result
Four uprights were delivered on Friday afternoon. The car qualified on Saturday.
